Workshops
Siân is an experienced facilitator, with a full DBS, who is confident working with all age ranges and abilities. Currently working as the Puppetry Tutor with The Creative Dimensions Trust, she previously worked as the puppetry tutor for the Mary Ward Centre. She has led workshops for The National Theatre, Les Enfants Terribles, Movingstage Marionettes, Polka Theatre, Albany Theatre, Newcastle Moving Parts festival and Skipton Puppet festival and has been a guest lecturer at the Central School of Speech and Drama and Falmouth University.
All of Siân's workshops can be tailored according to group size, budget and specific requirements and can incorporate curriculum or goal based learning. She is also experienced working with people who have additional learning or complex needs and aims for all of her workshops to be as enabling and inclusive as possible.

Growing Puppet Project

The Growing Puppet Project combines botanical puppet-making workshops and story-telling.

Each workshop includes a story-telling element relating to the history of puppetry and the folklore connected to the plants explored during the session.

Participants create a puppet using foraged, seasonal plants from the space the workshop is held in.
